Café Napoli is a family owned restaurant, established in 1989 by Tony and Kathy Pietoso. Quickly becoming a success, they moved the small basement restaurant to a larger location at the corner of Forsyth and Bemiston in the heart of Clayton. In 2003, sons Ande and Kye expanded their family restaurant by adding Bar Napoli, a swank cocktail lounge. A few years later, Napoli Reserve was added onto Bar Napoli allowing for private event space and an additional bar and lounge for the weekends. After years of a flourishing business, Kathy and Tony decided to take their ventures West to Town and Country where they opened their second location, Napoli2, managed by Ande. Kye has taken the reigns from his father and is now the front man for the 8,000 square foot establishment in Clayton. Café Napoli and Bar Napoli have recently undergone a face lift inside and out. Inside the kitchen, Executive Chef from Napoli2 Jon Berger was recently added to the team, bringing fresh ideas and innovation to the regional Italian specialties.

Acero made for a perfect anniversary dinner for a couple from out of town. They offered us complimentary sparkling wine and even had our menus printed with a congratulations. Everything was fantastic but the egg raviolo is not to be missed. Our waiter Simon made it a wonderful experience.

When I opened my doors in July of 2009, I committed to serving the freshest Italian dishes made from local and seasonal ingredients. I learned early the heart of Italian cooking is the flavor…or sapore. My school of teaching was from the best; my Nonna Elena and Mother Lia. Their philosophy has been carried on in my style of cooking: use simple ingredients and the food will speak for its self. Classic Italian dishes grace the menu but are personalized with my unique touch. Quality and consistency is what you will find with each dish. I would never serve anything short of that. So whether you are looking for a memorable night out or a glass of wine with friends, I am glad that you have chosen Sapore. We had a very nice meal. Started with great cocktails. We had the egg plant appetizer which was really spectacular. We shared a salad and a lovely shrimp and lobster pasta. Both were excellent. Our waiter Russell was interactive and helpful in navigating the menu. He was attentive but not too much. Definitely recommend this place and we look forward to returning.

Lovely dinner at Del Pietro’s. Delicious Caesar salad, seafood pasta and tiramisu at very reasonable prices. My server Jack was just outstanding. So sad that they will be closing at the end of the year.

Food was amazing, only way to make it better is to give a few more Ravioli with the appetizer, they give you a solid amount but they were so good I needed more. Filet was well above a standard restaurant steak, nicely seared. Truffle fries were also very satisfying.

I took my group of 10 coworkers out for our annual Christmas lunch and we had a wonderful time. The Waterfall Room was a perfect setting that allowed us to have conversation and some privacy. Everyone's food was amazing and the service was excellent. We will definitely be back!
