Love the pork Schnitzel , steaks and shrimp. We have been coming here for about forty years. Just love this restaurant. Zach always takes care of us. Try the Sunday brunch too.

The food was outstanding. Very unique restaurant, decorated for the theme of the holidays and the menu was aligned accordingly! We had the Shrimp and grits, Roasted Chicken and 2 burgers. All were excellent. Meatballs and bread were great appetizers. Great service as well! Amelia was our server and she was excellent.

One of my very favorite spots for date night, team building events, family life changing events and everything in between, including brunch! Asado Life’s outstanding menus, cocktail & food, are sure to satisfy any palate. Not only are the food and drinks amazing but the staff is ALWAYS friendly and truly can make you feel like you are their favorite guest. Last night, my husband and I came for date night and we were completely satisfied as usual and cannot wait to be back again.

The Reef, originally called Comptons, was built by the Usina family on a beautiful piece of oceanfront property, owned by the family for generations, located on tranquil North Beach, three miles north of the Usina Bridge. Comptons opened in 1989 and enjoyed great success for the next ten years. It closed in 1999 due to the ill health of Mr. Compton and hurricane damage. There are few remaining true Oceanfront restaurants in Northeast Florida, and of those, The Reef, commands the most spectacular views. Sit at any table inside and the view is dynamic to say the least, or enjoy the recently rebuilt and expanded deck where you not only look out at The Ocean, you listen to it too as the waves break and the birds cry. To complement this vista Chef Denzel Aponte' has created a menu primarily of fish and seafood balanced with beef, poultry pasta and creative specials, always fresh and sourced locally whenever possible.

Terrific time with guests from out of town. Greg, our waiter, was great with excellent service and a fun sense of humor. Dinner was excellent as usual. All in all, a great time was had by all. 5-stars!
