   Nice atmosphere. I’ve ordered the smoked pork chop twice now. One small pork chop, very expensive for serving size. The corn side isn’t very good and the beans are obviously not made fresh. I was starting to wonder if they had to squeeze the grapes for the wine, it took quit awhile, although it was good. $46 it better be good. Probably won’t go back if I’m paying the bill but if it’s on someone else’s dime I would.

   First server took our drink and appetizer order,. She brought out our appetizer, we finished that and she removed our plate, and then did not return to take our entree order. She then left her shift for the day without telling us she was done for the day. Not one person could be found for a half hour. When we did see someone we called her over telling her we have been waiting to order our entrees. The girl said the previous girl left her some notes on our bill she forwarded, apologized, but then proceeded to tell us that she was talking to friends, and that is why she was late getting to us. There are things you just don't do in the service industry, and that was this experience. My husband and I were appalled to say the least. The only saving grace was the meals were good. However, we will not be returning knowing this is how the service is handled with customers.

   The Sawmill never disappoints. I often have the lamb or tenderloin. Both are always wonderful. Last night I tried the prime rib. It was excellent. I ordered the 8 ounce portion and was served a piece I would estimate was 12 ounces, so my only complaint is that the meal was so big I didn’t have room for dessert!

   Not impressed with the quality of steak very thin and quality was poor very chewy, table behind us also had issue with same steak we overheard it was cooked like a boot they threw another one on for him, I choose not to as I wasn’t very comfortable as I found the air to be a little warm for my comfort level for $220 I think the food could’ve been more of a larger serving and better quality for sure the wait was long Food was a little cold Don’t see us returning

   Our first experience at the Sawmill. Wonderful foot and a very nice experience. The Prime Rib was par excellence! We will be coming back!
