   I have always visited this place and the food and service is amazing. Today I was very disappointed on the service, took 40min to order my food and another 30min to get my food. I think this is ridiculous as I had to grab a person to remind my waitress that I need to put in my order. Now, I will not blame the waitress as they were busy, actually really busy. I blame the management for not having enough personnel.

   I had never been to the Sawmill in Leduc for Sunday brunch. It was outstanding. Such a warm, inviting atmosphere. The food was of excellent quality and the service was impeccable. The price is excellent. You’d be hard pressed to get a meal with such awesome options for this price anywhere else.

   We were in the lounge and had a fabulous server. Definitely 10/10 service. The food was great! Will definitely be back.

   Nice atmosphere. I’ve ordered the smoked pork chop twice now. One small pork chop, very expensive for serving size. The corn side isn’t very good and the beans are obviously not made fresh. I was starting to wonder if they had to squeeze the grapes for the wine, it took quit awhile, although it was good. $46 it better be good. Probably won’t go back if I’m paying the bill but if it’s on someone else’s dime I would.

   First server took our drink and appetizer order,. She brought out our appetizer, we finished that and she removed our plate, and then did not return to take our entree order. She then left her shift for the day without telling us she was done for the day. Not one person could be found for a half hour. When we did see someone we called her over telling her we have been waiting to order our entrees. The girl said the previous girl left her some notes on our bill she forwarded, apologized, but then proceeded to tell us that she was talking to friends, and that is why she was late getting to us. There are things you just don't do in the service industry, and that was this experience. My husband and I were appalled to say the least. The only saving grace was the meals were good. However, we will not be returning knowing this is how the service is handled with customers.

    The Sawmill never disappoints. I often have the lamb or tenderloin. Both are always wonderful. Last night I tried the prime rib. It was excellent. I ordered the 8 ounce portion and was served a piece I would estimate was 12 ounces, so my only complaint is that the meal was so big I didn’t have room for dessert!
