   I’m a big fan! Trout entree, golden beet seasonal salad, Caymus wine flight, and of course one of the wonderful and mot too calorie killing mini indulgences…perfect post theater end toa great weekend’

   So been here many times since this restaurant usually has great service and food and close to the theater. So first issue I had was they seated our party of 5 (adults) at a table really for 4. Also, the table wasn’t set for 5 and they had a missing chair when they escorted us to the table. There were other tables with 5 seats open. 2, several of our dishes were overly salty. I really wanted to returned my Alaska butter fish. The fish was cooked well, but the sauce was overly salty. It really should be served with rice or bread to cut through the saltiness. The pork chops was also overly salty and the lobster tail was slightly undercooked in the middle. Also, they forgot to gives us steak knives until later. Not sure if I will come back here again when there are so many other restaurants nearby. I don’t mind paying more, just want the food and service to be consistent . Food: c-; service c -

   I hadn't been to Seasons 52 for about a year, but this experience was just as good as it ever was. It absolutely is necessary to have a reservation on a Saturday night, so I was glad I used Open Table. We were seated within minutes, whereas walk-ins were told it could be up to two hours. We received excellent service. I had the Mule for a cocktail. We started with a flatbread, always a good appetizer. I also enjoyed the beet salad and the salmon for an entree. For dessert, I had a peanut butter parfait. All delicious.

   My wife and I definitely have our favorite spots. But we decided this year we would try a new place a month. Well January is our anniversary so I told them through open table it was. Let me tell you they mastered the little things that make you feel special. The serve TJ was excellent. The food was delicious. A new favorite spot to frequent.

   We have enjoyed Seasons 52 in the past. Great food, excellent value. This time, stuffed mushroom starter — highly recommended by 2 servers— was terrible. I wish we had sent it back. Butter fish good but sauce very overpowering. I had to order mashed potatoes or I would have left hungry. They tasted weird too. Scallops were just average. Totally disappointed so most likely won’t return. Not sure what happened.

   Part of the fun having lunch at Season's 52 located in Costa Mesa, California is having so many menu items to choose from. I like to sit in a booth facing the dining room. John made my request possible. My favorite meal is sharing and tasting everything on the menu. Flatbreads with Caramelized Brussels Sprouts, Wood-Grilled Steak Tacos, and lots of Mini Desserts. The large bottle of Acqua Panna is perfect.

   Had an exceptional experience celebrating my birthday. From the moment I arrived, I was impressed with the thoughtful touch of a "Happy Birthday" sign at our table, which set the tone for a memorable meal. The service was attentive and courteous throughout, making sure that every detail was taken care of.
