Selanne Steak Tavern, owned by Anaheim Duck legend Teemu Selanne and located in a quaint, historical home built in 1934, features an upscale casual neighborhood tavern and a traditional steakhouse. We love a special evening at Selanne's. We always order Lord Stanley's cut, and it never disappoints. It was a perfect meal.

From the moment we entered the property, we were greeted warmly and treated graciously. The restaurant ambiance is elegant, yet homey. Service was appropriately attentive. The food was delicious, particularly the wedge salad and side order of carrots. The steak was good, but not exceptional.

Wouldn't go back. Overpriced, average food at best. waiter was nice but although 1st customers to arrive when restaurant opened we were treated the worst. They sat us in the worst spot in the house. A small table with all the bar patrons backs to us about 6 inches away. Awful experience - perhaps need more seasoned staff to 'read the room'. Shame, I am still a Teemu NHL fan but not of this restaurant. Third try and this was the worst of them all. three strikes and you're out. Do not recommend this restaurant unless you're part of one of their private parties where they seem to pay a lot more attention to.
