   We used to go to this restaurant years ago, then stopped because of the long reconstruction of the nearby bridge. You see it’s a very lovely dining experience to sit outside on the water, particularly at this lovely time of year. Hate to say it, but inside The ambience noise and overall vibe of the restaurant is that I wouldn’t sit inside. That said, five of us Dan alfresco last night and had a good and upscale Italian meal as we might find it any of our favorite Ft Lauderdale or Pompano Beach Italian restaurants. The service was terrific, and the food was delicious. One friend and I split the Bucatini carbonara which was sinfully rich and delicious as well as a Caesar salad. I had the veal chopped Parmesan, which was Flintstone sized. Had I known we would’ve shared that as well, but my friend had the Bronzino and said it was delicious. The other friends had pasta, visual, and a different salad as their appetizers. One had the veal chop special with a sauce of white wine and hot cherry peppers, while Another had linguine with clams and the last had the snapper pescatore special w/clams, mussels and calamari. Everyone loved their dinners. I would definitely go back to this neighborhood gem.

   Great meal choices, food tasty, good presentation, server friendly and helpful. Wonderful meal all around. Don’t be put off by the front of the building.

   I do not usually leave negative reviews. This was a bad restaurant populated by people who do not know better. Grimy floors with industrial mats. The water view is a dock with some boats. Tables too close together, not stable. We got a dish and found a piece of plastic in it. They didn’t take it off the check. Did not bother to complain further, just wanted to leave. My assumption this was a good family run type place N years ago and it’s gone downhill.

   Everything was wonderful - except tables were crammed together, making it difficult to sit a comfortable distance from the table and almost impossible to get up from the table.

    Reservation made in advance for 830p. We arrived on time and were not seated until 900p. The restaurant was not exceedingly busy. The hostess did not smile once and appeared annoyed with each question and ring of the phone. The entry is small so we were asked to “wait outside” until our table was ready. We were seated outside as requested but the “water view” was obscured by dark shades pulled down around the patio. No water to see. But there was an exceedingly bright neon light and very loud vibrant music. Didn’t sound Italian at all. Ordered the halibut topped with crab as the waiter described. In reality it was halibut with deviled crab on top. Wish I had known, definitely not my favorite - was expecting lump crab. Overall Not my vibe and didn’t feel very welcomed as a customer. Probably won’t be back.
