What happens to the white table Cloth? No soup spoons? Had to wait 45 Minutes after reserved time to get seated. Then waited another 30 min after appetizer to get main dinner. Over all was not the Simon’s it use to be.

The wait was outrageous. We had a 6:16 reservation and weren’t even seated until 8. Food took another hour. Our waiter was nice but overwhelmed.

Our server Shawn was excellent. Food was good but has been better in the past, it was a very busy evening. We got our table about 30 past our reservation which isn't bad. One thing we noticed that they weren't using tablecloths or candles especially on Valentine’s Day. We celebrate our anniversary and Valentine’s together as they are on the same day. In the past the staff would make the day special and on one of those occasions even warmed up small candles and twisted them and had extra pedals on our table. Although we did not expect any of that, it's sad to see the changes.

We had 5:00 reservations, understanding that it was Valentine’s Day and they were busy, but we waited for over an hour to be seated. One of the hostesses came into the bar area, where we were seated at the direction of one of the other hostesses walked into the bar, barely looked around, and then walked back out. We were told later that they couldn’t find us after the hostess clearly made no effort to find us. The kitchen was so backed up the food took forever we had 5 o’clock reservations we got there maybe 15 or 20 minutes early. We were leaving at almost 8 o’clock. For $140 dinner just not acceptable. The food was mediocre. The best part of the night was the waitress that service in the bar. She was super apologetic about the long wait and very nice even brought us a side of bread because we’ve been waiting so long Don’t think we’ll be going back

The Valentine Special meal was outstanding, as always, a great value, and the service was as wonderful as it always has been.

Great food, anazing view. My crab stuffed haddock was cooked perfectly. Service was polite and prompt even on a very busy night. Definitely a must try!

We've been dining at Simon & Seaforts since it opened over 40 years ago. At that time it was the place to be; great food, wonderful service, and an outstanding location. In 2019 it became part of the Landry restaurant conglomerate. I don't know if there's a connection, but the restaurant certain took a nose dive. We ate there a year or so ago and ended up leaving, after not being served for nearly 2 hours. They comped us our drinks, but still...no dinner. We gave it a few months, then decided to try it again. This time we received our food, but it was luke warm at best. We asked our server to take it back and reheat it, which he did, but it came back a few minutes later only slightly warmer. Last night we ate there again, hoping things had changed. We had 7:00 reservations. Our server stopped by and said she'd be with us in a minute (our area of the restaurant was very busy). We waited nearly 30 minutes before she came back for our drink order. At that time we ordered a coconut shrimp appetizer, which arrived around 20 minutes later (still no drinks). We caught our server as she passed by and asked about the drinks, to which she said she thought someone else was bringing them. A few minutes later they arrived. The coconut shrimp, by the way, was outstanding. Our dinner arrived in another 15-20 minutes, minus the salad I'd ordered. The manager came over (we didn't ask for him) and apologized and comped us our glassef wine. At that point I just said I'd skip the salad. The mashed potatoes were warm and sticky. My prime rib came with a mild horseradish sauce (in the old days they served it with freshly ground horseradish. The prime rib was very blah. My wife ordered crab stuffed halibut, which looked like a halibut sandwich without the bread. Too much breading and virtually no crab. Again, very blah. We won't be going back to Simon's for dining ever again. Maybe the bar area would be ok for a drink and appetizers, but stay away from the restaurant!!

Service was slow, 3 hours to complete dinner. Food was ok but below previous standards we have experienced. Appetizers, salad and bread basket good but entrees must have sat too long before being served. Appreciated the birthday wishes and dessert.

The food was fantastic. The price is a little steeper but fair and well worth the cost. Our host, Shawn, was phenomenal and added to the experience with his knowledge and whit. The food, the service, and the view make Simon and Seafort's a homerun!
