   We had an amazing experience at Skulls. The food seemed to be priced a little high until we got our plates and the portion sizes were huge. We shared all 4 courses and still had to take a to-go plate. We stayed after for the Burlesque show and it also did not disappoint.

   Skulls is fine dining with wonderful entertainment. The food is always on point. Service is also exceptional.

   Vibe in the venue was awesome. Live music with great talent. Was loud enough to enjoy and engage but not so loud you couldn’t also have a conversation which was fabulous! Pork chop was to die for, the snapper was a tid-bit dry, but flavors were delicious!

   Our high expectation met with the pretty terrible reality of what Skulls is now. Once we realized we would be in Nashville for NYE we made sure to mark our calendars to snag a table as soon as the booking was open. Arrived at our reservation time and eventually get seated at a booth. Our guests could sit on their side of the table and sit at a normal height but both husband and I (who are both 5 ft 9 in) were about chin-high because our booth seat was so low. The server was at table when we were commenting and clearly uncomfortable and she laughed and moved on to telling us about the specials. Great. Worse - the food was just so sub-par. I had a Caesar salad that was pretty much inedible. The butcher board was so mediocre as to not be mentionable, the empanadas were drowned in some white glob that I could not identify and the two plates of diver scallops were over cooked. So disappointing. We will not be back.

   It was New Year’s Eve and we had great service from Anne. The ambiance was amazing and so are the expresso martinis (must have). We settled on the pork chops which never disappoint. All in all it was a wonderful dinner and we had an incredible time. Absolutely one of the best places in Nashville!

   Four of us celebrated New Years Eve at Skulls Rainbow Room. Food and presentation was fantastic. Great staff that worked together as a team. A little pricy but for a special occasion a great choice.

   This was such a nice hideaway from all the hustle and bustle of the New Year crowd! Everyone had incredible energy and made the experience so fun!
