   Booked a reservation for Valentine’sDay pulled up to the restaurant to find its pitch black and closed for renovations! 6pm on a Friday night and Valentines Day! Don’t book this reservation on open table ! Call the restaurant to find out if they are open first.

   We made a reservation for Valentine’s Day & when we got there the place was closed with no sign on the door & the phone was out of service. Extremely disappointing & unprofessional. They should’ve stopped taking reservations.

   We made reservations forValentine,s Day. When we arrived at the restaurant it was closed. No sign on the door explaining why it was closed. Other diners drove up and said they had reservations too. I tried calling the telephone number no answer. Later we found out it was under new ownership and it was closed for renovations.

   Although we have picked up food from here before, this was our first time dining in the restaurant. The place was cute, food was good, service was pretty prompt for a holiday evening, and the staff were friendly. Also, for such a small place, it wasn't as noisy as I anticipated. Nevertheless, prices have gone up slightly since we last ordered from them (note: prices appeared a bit higher than advertised on the website). For reference, it was roughly $92, prior to tip, for one cocktail, two appetizers, and one entree. I feel like the pricing led to my husband choosing an appetizer for his main instead of an entree. While portions were not "small," you also did not necessarily feel like you were getting "a bang for your buck." In addition, parking is a bit tricky as there did not appear to be any designated parking lot.

    Disappointed is an understatement. I personally chose this restaurant for my mother’s 60th birthday. The food had been amazing the last time I had gone (about 2 years ago). I am so beyond embarrassed and upset with how awful the night had gone. First of all the restaurant was freezing. There were many people wearing their coats inside while eating. Honestly, we looked past that almost immediately. The first issue we had was my fiancé found a hair in his espresso martini. Gross, but he removed it and didn’t even mention it, because we still were hopeful for a good meal. Appetizers were mediocre, but nothing to complain about. Our issues were with the entrees. My fiancé ordered a smash burger which was honestly laughable for $20. It wasn’t a smash burger at all. Two thick and without exaggeration, tiny White Castle sized burgers stacked on top of eachother on a MASSIVE bun in comparison to the burger. Even our waitress agreed it was shameful. They agreed to remake his burger but literally as soon as it came out I found a tomato in my already half eaten chicken paillard that had a STICKER on it! They did the right thing by removing both the burger and chicken dish off our bill. However, my fiancé didn’t even touch or take home his re-made burger and both of my parents and I were so disgusted and left the rest of our meals. They said there are new chefs in the kitchen. Honestly for $200 (with the two meals being taken off) I am utterly disgusted. What was supposed to be a huge milestone birthday and nice dinner for my beautiful mom was completely ruined. Had to stop for other food on the way home. I will literally never go back here. What a shame for this used to be an amazing restaurant.
