   Food and service was good….arrived in a timely manner. Server Michela was very attentive. I think the food has improved recently…look forward to that being maintained.

   The food and wait staff was excellent. I met up with an old friend and wanted a place where we could talk. This worked well but I would have rather been at a table instead of a booth. I wanted something on the wall or in a corner and I found the booth to be a little uncomfortable. Would readily recommend.

   I had dinner last night with my wife for our anniversary. We both agree, we had the worst meal and service ever. My steak was a low-quality ribeye that was supposed to be 14 oz but was really about 8 oz. It looked like a small square piece of top sirloin, cooked in an oven, that was overcooked. My wife's tenderloin tasted like an organ. She couldn't even eat it. It took over 45 mins to get our cocktails from the bar, with the restaurant being at only 25% capacity. The staff was totally inexperienced. They ran around with no purpose and no results. I spent over 200 bucks for garbage. The portions were so small, I was hungrier when I left than when I arrived. I will never go back. You are better off going to Texas Roadhouse, or some other chain, and pay a 1/4 of the price for a better meal.

   I've had a good experience and a not-so-good experience several years ago. Yesterday everything was excellent except desserts not so special, especially the molten lava cake.

   Service and ambience were good, pork (overdone and tough)and brussel sprouts (soft and unappealing) were mediocre.. for a fancy restaurant I expected better… will not be going back

   My second trip to Southern Prime and the food did not disappoint. The guest of honor loved his surf and turf, which included a sizable lobster tail. The brown sugar salmon was rated a 15 out of 10. I had the tomahawk pork chop, which was cooked to perfection, but under seasoned. The lobster Mac and cheese was light on lobster, but tasted fine. The sautéed mushrooms were ordinary. There may have been more interesting specials on the menu; but our server didn’t share them with us. We overheard the specials when another server shared them with a large party next to us. Unfortunately, it was after we had placed our orders. I would come back when I’m in the area.

   We had reservations and when we arrived it was total confusion at the check in. Everyone seemed stressed. We had to wait on our table. We were finally seated and there was a couple of large groups that were loud. We could hardly talk or hear the waitress. We ordered appetizers and they were okay but somewhat disappointing. We had to finally ask for some bread. Our entrees were pretty good. I’ve always enjoyed this restaurant but was disappointed overall on this visit.

   We have eaten at this establishment many times. Last time was right before the 2024 US Open. Was OK. Recent visit tonight was pretty bad. Service from Haley was terrible. Drinks were ordered at 5:55. Drinks arrived at 6:15. My drink was placed directly across from me on other side of table. She then took my wife’s appetizer order and she started walking away when I said to her that I would also like to order an appetizer. Wife had crab rangoons and I had the tuna appetizer. Both apps were not what they used to be. 5 rangoons served on a platter. They were lost on the plate. Tuna was very dry and did not seem fresh. She never came back and asked us if we wanted a second cocktail. I was still eating my app when the dinners came out and the server stood there waiting for me to finish verses asking me if she could sit it down while I finished. Tonight was the last time that we will be dining there until they hopefully get their act together. Southern Prime used to be our go to place for a quality dinner out night. Good luck.
