I never write bad reviews… We were celebrating a birthday and had requested a table for two in a somewhat quieter spot if possible. We were put against the wall at very small table. So small we had trouble fitting our plates once our steaks and side dishes arrived. Unfortunately they had to take our bread and salads away before we were done to make room. In addition, there were three large tables around us and we could not hear each other speak. Extremely disappointing especially since we were celebrating. My guy thought the shrimp cocktail was as okay but not as good as it has been in the past. My filet was dry and overcooked though I asked for medium. I almost sent it back but our waiter was no where to be found. Our server and the others appeared to be assisting the larger tables versus the smaller ones. My guy’s steak was okay but not worth $100. For $100 I would expect it to be excellent. And we were shocked that the side dishes were not good - the potatoes (mashed) were good and did not taste very good and the brussel sprouts were undercooked. Our drinks were also disappointing…I ordered the signature margarita and it was so bad I couldn’t drink it and I love margaritas. I then ordered a different drink but it was not much better. My guy had a few old fashioneds…first was very bitter, second and third were about 1.5 ounces without the ice ball in the glass and very bitter as well. They must have a new bartender because how could you mess up two types of basic drinks. We had not been to St. Elmo’s in years but decided it would be a nice way to celebrate a birthday. Unfortunately we were very disappointed especially after spending just under $450 for two of us. If the food, service, noise level and seating would have been better I would not issue paying $450 for a great meal.

Best meal I’ve had in a while. The scallops are to die for! Also loved the chopped salad.

Was very disappointed with the food. We had the porterhouse baked potato, spinach salad and navy bean soup. Steak was not even close to being an $80 steak. Lack of seasoning , wasn’t cooked to medium like we asked and didn’t taste that great. Baked potato was good, spinach salad was and navy bean super were excellent. Waiter was great and ambience was great

We were in town for a Legislative conference and took 11 people (including two Representatives and two Senators) to dinner. Dined in the Huse Room, which was not requested, but very appreciated so we didn't have to shout at one another just to be heard. Food was outstanding as usual, and our server (Kyle T.) was very attentive, courteous and spot-on with service. Thank you for a wonderful evening!

First time guests at St. Elmo’s didn’t disappoint even though our Strip did not come out the way we had hoped the first time. Our waiter was great as he handled our small inconvenience superbly. Was not expecting them to take care of our entree but they did anyways. We can’t wait to get back and try it again. Wonderful ambience and overall great staff, thanks Max!!
