ST. JOHN Bread & Wine reflects the rhythms of its locale whilst observing the same respect for seasonal, indigenous ingredients and "the whole beast" as the bigger sister restaurant. Currently opening for dinner, Tuesday to Saturday, this branch very much beats its own drum with a menu structured towards a slightly less formal manner of dining, with guests actively encouraged to share dishes as they're ready from the kitchen.



As well as selling goods to take home from our bakery, wines by the bottle or the case can be bought from our lists to take home with some delivery available.



Bread & Wine has been voted Best British Restaurant by the Evening Standard and named as best value restaurant by The Observer Food Monthly.

    This ended up being one of those perfect London nights. The perfection started with St John. The server - professional! The food - incredibly delicious. The overall energy - whatever your dream energy is.

    I had a wonderful pre-holiday lunch with my wife! The cocktails were spot on. The partridge was cooked the way I like it. The staff were whirring about like madmen and women but never missed a beat, were attentive to every detail, and knew what I wanted before I even did. Thanks for the wonderful holiday send off!

    Excellent lunch the salt beef with radicchio and partridge are amazing Also the dripping chips and buttered greens are delicious Lovely ambience with beautiful cocktails and wine

    Great as ever. From anchovy toast, beetroot and pickled walnut to cod’s roe, mutton, and bone marrow, all excellent.

    This was my second visit and both trips were excellent. I have also been to the original restaurant on St John Street and both are excellent but different. Bread and Wine is slightly more informal that St John Street but like the parent has excellent food, wine and service.
