   Just the beginning of the holiday season and the place was hopping! All staff was on their game. Wendy at the bar!, alyssa at the tables, Angela walking the floors and the great warm duo team of hostesses- i will call them S &N! They make you feel special as soon as you walk in! The Chef and kitchen staff make the dining experience feel elevated with great tasting food options and quality cuts of meat cooked just right! Looking forward to my next visit!

   Top steak house in the city. Best sides of anywhere. The layered potato in goose fat and the Brussels are amazing. Steak is as good as you'll find in nyc. Very cool spot with great service.

   The food seemed overly seasoned and the table we were seated at had very poor/negligible lighting. The steak I had was deliciously tender and cooked as requested but again aggressively seasoned rather than subtly. Desserts were enormous I have to say and easily enough to share for 2/3. The staff were attentive and courteous but I wondered if the seasoning was to encourage beverage consumption. Overall I was disappointed but the meal was good just below high expectations.

   One of the darkest and loudest restaurants I have ever been to. The steak was delicious (though pricey) but this is not a place where you can have a conversation with your dinner companions, or see your menu without the benefits of your phone’s flashlight.

   A few weeks ago we were in Las Vegas and we ate at the Strip house there and it was nothing compared to the Strip House Midtown in New York City. The Crabcake and Bibb lettuce salad appetizers were unbelievably tasty. The filet mignon was cooked to perfection and so was the Miso Seabass. And all of these dishes were plated absolutely beautifully. Our server Marcel was awesome in that he described all of the dishes on the menu perfectly which allowed us to make our choices, he accommodated all of our requests and was extremely attentive right through our dinner. Thank you Marcel for making this an absolutely wonderful evening and enhancing our dining experience !

   We had an amazing experience as an early birthday celebration. The server, Alissa (sp), was exceptional. Her attentiveness and thoughtful recommendations made the occasion truly memorable.
