Sushi Sasabune offers a unique Omakase-style sushi experience. We specialize in using as much local fish as possible, creating a meal that can be found nowhere else in the world! Sasabune is a specialty sushi restaurant, meaning we do not serve tempura, noodles, California rolls etc. All nigiri are served with its own unique sauce and topping, meant to be eaten as is. In the words of head chef and owner Seiji Kumagawa, "Trust me!"

It started out with some very good fish, albeit with a somewhat peculiar preparation: a squirt of some kind of mayonnaise? Overall, the food was just OK, and definitely NOT authentic Japanese style. Not worth the very high prices.

The staff and Itamae of this restaurant are truly exceptional and the meal they provide is absolutely sensational.

It was one of our very first Omakase experiences, and since eating here, we have had many others. This place never disappoints. Wonderful service, fresh food, delicious.

                                                                                                      This was a birthday dinner for my husband and I’m so glad I chose this place. We love Japanese food and my hubby loves his fresh fish, hands down this is the best omakase restaurant we’ve been to, the quality and taste is just like we’re in Japan. Such a great experience, trust them they know what they are doing. I will highly recommend this place to all my friends and family. Domo arigato to the staff for a wonderful welcoming experience.
