Great restaurant. Ambiance was classy. Had a couple issues that they responded to very quickly and I appreciated their solutions. Server and staff were extremely attentive. Their food was delicious. Flavorful, not greasy. Cannot go wrong.

I have been to Tamarind well over a 100 times in the past 15+ years including virtually every weekend during the pandemic when they had outdoor seating. The last visit was disappointing at several levels. We wanted to order appetizers and wait before ordering the main course. The waiter claimed their "system does not allow that"!! We reached at 6pm but by 7:30 the restaurant was packed which explained that nonsensical answer. They wanted us to eat and leave in order to turn the table for the next guests. The other complaint was that we were seated at the upper level, difficult to get to for older folks (one of us is over 80) and the ceiling is low there resulting in unacceptable loud noise levels due to loud talking by guests.
