   Texas de Brazil es uno de los restaurantes que mi familia y yo escogemos para disfrutar diferentes ocasiones especiales sin embargo esta vez que visitamos el restaurante hemos quedado un poco decepcionados con la experiencia, llegamos puntuales con reservación y nos hicieron esperar 20-30 minutos por la mesa, luego sentados tardaron mucho en pasar las carnes y cuando por fin llegaron con ellas estaban mal cocidas, en reiteradas ocasiones le pedimos a los gauchos que queríamos la carne bien cocida y pues esto no sucedió.

   I made reservations about 3 weeks ago at 7 for my husband & myself. We come to the Addison location several times a year. Thanksgiving evening & we were so looking forward to it. We valet because no parking was available, which is fine. Arrived 10 minutes early & the hostess said it would be about 15 minutes. So we get cocktails at the bar. 40 minutes later the hostess comes to get us & walks us 3 seats down at the bar. I said Oh No we aren't sitting there. 5 minutes later we were seated. Finally seated. Our waiter must have been new, he tried but wasn't up for the business that came this evening. I expected more for the $36 we spent at the bar & the $193 at the table & $10 to the valet.

   Dined in tonight for Thanksgiving and it was horrible. Was seated 30 mins after my reservation, didn’t get water until having to ask 30 mins into the meal. The food was fine, but the service was horrible. Our server came to the table twice throughout the whole visit. Unfortunate.

   Making a reservation thru open table was useless as we had to wait 45 minutes PAST our reservation time because the restaurant had overbooked. Very frustrating.

   Took 15-20min to get seated with reservation. We got sat next to waitress area, very tight and inconvenient spot to be sat at. The waiters serving meat always passed over our table because the area always had waiters standing there. It took so long to get what I’d request. Manager was rude when it came to paying, disrespectfully turned to my friend ignoring me as I was talking to her... and to top it off they misplaced our credit card. The cash register was very close to us and they walked away pretty far and came back with it.

   Seating waiting time was about 15 minutes with reservations. We don't think that is really a problem being that it was Thanksgiving Day.

   Always delicious salad bar, hot bar and meats. Great for a larger group with picky food tastes. Fun ambiance, but holidays seem to be overly busy and service is slower because of that. Last night floor was quite slippery with lots of spills and oils and juices having collected on the floor. I noted it to a staff person but it was never mopped or resolved. Both husband and I felt unsafe walking through the restaurant.

   We started about 6 years ago going on Thanksgiving day. Wonderful meal, no cooking worries and a great treat to ourselves

    I have lived in Texas the last 30 years no restaurant like Texas de Brazil for everybody all human beings !
