   Food was really great, eclectic, fresh, and well prepared. Our greeter and server were both friendly and made us welcome. However, a couple of things made our experience less than perfect. First, this place has an identity crisis. At least in the main room, the noise level and casual atmosphere said “sports bar” more than elevated dining, so it’s a mismatch. I felt like I was eating in a TGI Fridays with unusually excellent food, or a high-end foodie restaurant you can go to in your pajamas. The other more serious downside was the pacing. While our server took our drink order right away, drinks and apps took a long time to arrive (sorry the kitchen and bar are overwhelmed”) so we were only halfway through them when our mains arrived. I don’t know if you have ever consumed meatballs, artichoke dip and chips, NY steak and Asian sea scallops all at one time, washed down with a blackberry coconut margarita, but trust me, it’s bizarre. The kicker was when our server recommended a dessert, and we ordered it, and waited. And waited. 25 minutes later it arrived, with apologies and an offer to comp it, but “the kitchen is overwhelmed” didn’t cut it twice in one meal, especially as by the time our dessert arrived, the place (which HAD been very busy; it was a Saturday night) was half empty. All in all, I’d come back here for the food, with lower expectations for service, and it will be great if they can get their timing down. That dessert (an excellent warm toffee cake with walnut whipped cream) for example, should be ordered with the main course so to be ready on time. Cocktails need to be expedited and prioritized for diners even if it means those drinking at the bar wait a bit longer. If those two changes had been made our meal would have been amazing, and I would have ordered a glass of wine with my steak. When the Arrogant Butcher becomes the Organized Butcher, it will be five stars.

   Great place in downtown Phoenix Food is solid Our server was great Nice fun vibe Call restaurant ahead to find out where to park for free ( we didn’t know about that)

   My husband and I loved our food and our server was great! We loved the pretzels with fondue. We had the charcuterie and it tasted great too. There was a ton of food for the charcuterie. My husband really liked his rigatoni. I really liked the salmon, quinoa. I forgot what else was on the plate, however I know all my good was tasty too!
