Open seven days a week, The Capital Grille is best known for our expertly prepared steaks, which are dry aged in house for 18 to 24 days and then hand-cut by our restaurant's on-premise butcher. The Capital Grille's wine list features more than 350 selections, and its floor-to-ceiling wine kiosk regularly houses 3,500 - 5,000 bottles. Reservations are recommended but not required.     Great atmosphere and excellent food . Enjoyed it very much. Slightly pricey: dinner for four was over $600 with tip and without dessert… But nice night overall.

    We were disappointed by the hostess who basically told us that any special requests that we added with our OpenTable reservation could not be considered. But our amazing server Rebecca made up for our bad experience with the hostess.

    Hubby and I ❤️ The Captial Grille. We make sure to come here every time we visit Chicago. This year we celebrated our 20 year anniversary and we were surprised with dessert which was amazing! And our waiter, David Fletcher, was amazing and so was the food!!! We ordered the following: Drinks - In Fashion (Old Fashion) and the Passion Fruit Mojito Food - Seared Tenderloin with Butter Poached Lobster Tails and Pan Seared Sea Bass Chiitake Mushroom Asparagus with Miso Butter Dessert - Flourless Chocolate Espresso Cake and Capital Grille Cheesecake Highly recommend, you won't be disappointed!

    Great service food ambience. An all around wonderful experience. Place has remained true to excellent quality post pandemic. However I ordered a glass of dessert wine and received literally 4 oz for $17 This was my only complaint Small details do matter. However I will have no problem returning!

    We had a wonderful meal here for my mother-in-law's birthday. Our server, Mike, was fantastic, with great recommendations. He made her dinner feel very special.
