Open seven days a week, The Capital Grille is best known for our expertly prepared steaks, which are dry aged in house for 18 to 24 days and then hand-cut by our restaurant's on-premise butcher. The Capital Grille's wine list features more than 350 selections, and its floor-to-ceiling wine kiosk regularly houses 3,500 - 5,000 bottles. Reservations are recommended but not required.     The service is always attentive at Capital Grill, but the service by Micah was superb! Thanks, Micah, for your attentiveness. The fried calamari was delicious, as always. I loved the onion soup and hamburger. My guest enjoyed the mini tenderloin sliders and the truffle French fries.

    I’ve eaten at several of these, the service, food, and professionalism of the staff is always too-notch. No difference at this Costa Mesa location. Everything from valet parking to departure was done well. We had a party of four with a reservation, and we were seated on time on a busy Saturday. Out super server was Seth.

    The Capital Grille on Saturday, February 22, 2025 Was a Zoo….. One explanation offered is there were no NFL FOOTBALL GAMES OR College….. Another explanation is the Restaurant was unable to process the Reservations, the Staffing, The Kitchen, etc. without causing a gracious dinner of one hour and half from expanding to two and one half hours without having time for dessert., etc First setting dinner weekday is enjoyable… Oversubscribed reservations without proper staffing is a recipe for a disaster. Avoid until further notice….. Try Gulfstream in Newport Beach where a Reservation insures a gracious experience throughout…..
