The Crosby Bar & Terrace is located on a quiet, cobblestoned street inside Soho’s Crosby Street Hotel. We offer modern American cuisine in a spacious room with high ceilings, long pewter bar, gray oak floors and tall warehouse-style windows which look out to the trees at the hotel’s entrance and the garden on Lafayette. It has an altogether leafy, breezy feel with lots of light throughout the day.

Nice room but terrible and slow service. We had to continuously track someone down to order any drinks, get the drinks, get the bill, pay the bill, etc. Food was decent but barely warm. Unfortunately being ignored by staff for most of the meal made for a very unpleasant experience. They also added an automatic 20 percent tip to our bill which was completely unacceptable under the circumstances. Would not recommend and will never return.

We tried The Crosby Bar’s afternoon tea after years of going to The Plaza. The Crosby’s gluten free offerings were delicious and we preferred their GF scones. The Crosby was also a better value; the finger sandwiches were bigger and we had the option of asking for more at no extra charge. Truly excellent. We will be back.

Great setting! Especially as snow clung to the court yard trees! Since it was the Saturday before Christmas the place was packed and service just so so. The afternoon tea itself was also just ok. The scones were great! But the clotted cream was not enough and we asked for more and got the amount that should have come first. The desserts were not worth eating… very average. Tea sandwiches also very average. The bread was all white and aside from the curry turkey the other sandwiches lacked taste. The tea was great. Would I go back… yes, but probably not for tea! The other menu items looked great! Fun atmosphere!!

B ratify space for dining and drinking and socializing. Noisy by bar but fun. We scored table in garden room less noisy to talk with old friends. Perfect evening Thanks Crosby!

We were staying at the hotel and had friends in from out of town join us for dinner. The restaurant was packed. Our server was very attentive. We had a couple of bottles of wine which were very fully priced. When the our mains came out they were cold and had clearly been sitting on a counter. I sent back my mussels and fries and my friend did the same with his steak. Our wives had salmon which came out room temperature. While they made things right and comped desserts, I pretty dis appointing overall.
