Food is always great. Service is always bad. One item never came. Asked for tap water no ice got a bottle of Evian. Asked to be seated at 12:53 for a 1:00 res and even thought tables were available wouldn’t seat us. Asked on the res form for an indoor booth didn’t get it. It’s consistently bad service. We go back because of location and food. Please improve the service!!

I've eaten at The Front Yard numerous times, especially when staying at the hotel every other week for a year before moving to SoCal from New York. Each time the experience was very good---consistent delicious food, lively ambiance, and awesome friendly service. Tonight was different...all because of one server. Our small party had the unfortunate experience of being served by Tony (as named on the receipt). He was completely off-brand for the Garland/Front Yard, whose staff typically goes above and beyond. When asked if we could order from the regular menu at 5.23pm, he simply said NO. Aware that the Happy Hour was still in effect until 5.30pm, I thought perhaps he would take our order, especially since the restaurant was fairly empty. I then asked if I could switch me salad choice to one on the Dinner Menu, he said NO. When we received our orders, he brought the check and never asked if we would like anything else. Front Yard...take note. Your one waiter can be a lasting effect on many patrons.

We had a wonderful holiday lunch with our broader team at TFY and loved every second! Ambiance, food and service were exceptional. Alisha, our server, was so attentive!

It's a nice restaurant in a nice setting. Parking is free with validation, valet costs money. The outdoors has heaters and is nice . It's a nice place for a business lunch as I've been there a few tines.

Always an enjoyable time, unless you ask the waiter for any modifications to a dish. Why can't the onions be left off a salad? I love the steak salad but am allergic to onions. No can do was the response as if I was asking for an overhaul of the dish. Other than that, the ambiance is great, indoors or outdoors, and festive during the holidays.

Food was delicious. The setting (a well lighted patio) is unique and fun. It’s pricey, but the experience is worth the cost.

One of my favorite spots in town - as there are very few places in the world where you can have an outdoor meal in December! The ambience is the Hollywood Best without the parking hassle (free self park in the lot behind with validation) - Waiter Frankie is the best - ask for him the next time you're there...and don't forget to tip your waiter - we are all in this together. Time for a drink!
