The Greene Oak is a contemporary 1 AA Rosette pub and restaurant in the heart of Oakley Green near Windsor in Berkshire. Taking hospitality back to it's roots with a warm welcome from our genuinely friendly team, gastronomic experiences showcasing outstanding suppliers and produce but most of all – to enjoy our great quality menu, simply prepared.
The Greene Oak prides itself on offering a diverse selection of wines, beers, cask ales and ciders. Our carefully selected wine list offers an accessible range of bottles to suit all tastes and dishes and don't worry if you are driving, we have an extensive lo and no alcohol list too.
There is a large garden and terrace which is covered and has heaters, with two horse boxes for the perfect unique dining experience. There is ample parking and dogs are very welcome in the bar.

Sunday lunch average at best. Staff good food really average. Cabbage and carrots side reminds me of my the 70s. Over cooked and bland. Roast potatoes good. Beef too well done. Cauliflower cheese past its best time on the pass. In and out in 45 minutes. Works out at 2 pounds a minute. Could be great venue Perhaps it is but not at 15:00 on a Sunday.

A suggestion and perhaps a selfish one! Have you thought about corralling the children and hopefully accompanying parents into one area (Sunday Lunch being the case in point) Great to encourage children to interact with others in public for sure Positive parenting in allowing their children to be able to eat out in a restaurant. Crap if the said parents have not got a clue how to control their children and the little treasures start running amok and the decibels start to get stratospheric! Before anyone asks, yes I have 2 grown up children and hopefully we did not scar to many other diners as we took them out for lunch/dinner/a cigarette (last one not actually true) As ever a great lunch @ number 4. POR

The food and service were decent, but the noise in our room detracted from an otherwise enjoyable Sunday lunch. The last time we ate inside, it was not nearly as bad.

Visiting the area from Yorkshire and booked the Greene Oak from the reviews. What a wonderful evening we had there. The pub was beautiful and lovely atmosphere. Made our little boy feel so part of it too. Can’t thank Rhia and Rachel enough for the exceptional service we received and kindness, they looked after us so well and went the extra mile with my son too for his 6th birthday. Highly recommend this place. Food was superb and wonderful value for money. Thank you for a really lovely evening Greene Oak.

Excellent Sunday roast , unlimited pigs in blankets a nice touch. Great serving staff, all super efficient, friendly and welcoming.
