Seasonal Local American Cuisine. We use many local products from local farmers. We are located about a mile west of the University of Virginia campus. Historic old home turned into a restaurant. Three small intimate dining rooms upstairs, one on the ground floor and a large weather protected patio. In the winter the Patio is heated. Family owned since 1995. Special diet needs met upon request.

    Was not informed of an automatic gratuity. Ended up tipping more than 45% !!! Shame on me for not seeing that. Not happy. Spider in a web right next to our table. Stink bug crawled onto the table in front of my wife. All that put a huge damper on what would have been a stellar evening.

    Incredible Thanksgiving feast. Five courses for $89 and brought 1/3 of it home to enjoy leftovers tomorrow. The usual five star quality plus no cooking or dishes to clean makes tIvy Inn the way to go for Thanksgiving

    Thanksgiving dinner was outstanding. Start to finish. We so appreciate the way you paced the meal; we never felt rushed. The portions were generous and balanced in everyway. We thank you and the staff for a brilliant holiday meal!

    Our Thanksgiving meal at Ivy Inn Restaurant was absolutely delightful. The service was excellent and the food was superb. All around a great dining experience!

    Wonderful Thanksgiving dinner at the Ivy Inn with five delicious courses. We especially enjoyed the wide variety of starters (course two): the empanadas and the Bison short ribs were amazing. Thank you Ivy Inn, for providing a traditional Thanksgiving meal with a gourmet Southern flair!

    Another wonderful dinner at The Ivy Inn; our server, Jeb, was attentive beyond. Even though we were seated in a small room upstairs, a loud table in the room made talking a challenge at times. Why do people have to scream when they are talking!?!?. Excellent meals all around!
