   We love going to the Morecambe Hotel, staff is always great, this evening there was a loud group mostly drunk with children who were bored and slamming doors, our order got a bit mixed up, and the steak was very chewy, steak knives not offered, but very tasty combined with lovely starters and dessert, we will be back with confidence

   When the food arrived it was very good indeed. We are a family of 5, most had starters which were very good and all of our mains were tasty and plentiful. The only issue was the 2.5 hours it took to have the meal. Waiting times were crazy and there were only 5 tables occupied in the place on a Sunday evening. Good food but not a fantastic experience

   The food was the star of the night. We had a traditional prawn cocktail and sirloin steak. The steak was cooked just right. The portions were filling and presentation was lovely. We wanted a low key celebration for New Year’s Eve and got just that. The other guests were enjoying themselves but there was no rowdy behaviour. The atmosphere in the side dining room was just right. The staff were attentive but not intrusive. Had a lovely night. Thank you.

   Although the pub was warm and friendly the food was a disappointment. Meals were not hot, some over cooked and generally not enjoyable or good value for the cost.

   I had the fish pie which was quite disappointing. At £21.00 I thought it very expensive for what it was. It wasn’t tasty and seemed predominantly mashed potato. It was more like a cheap one from a supermarket.my friend had a chicken dish which was fine.

    This is our go to restaurant in Morecambe! The food and the service is superb. We've tried the gluten free fish & chips,the parmo garlic & mushroom,the gluten free sweet potato & chickpea curry, - never had any reason to complain about anything. Prices are also very competitive. Whilst we are in Morecambe on a regular basis for 3 night breaks we always dine at The Morecambe Hotel on 2 nights. Highly recommended.
