We visited The Perfect Caper to celebrate Mom's 87th birthday and could not have had a better experience. As usual, the food, service and cocktails were fabulous. We have now visited several times and have never been disappointed. I made reservations for Valentine's Day in December to ensure we could treat our visiting granddaughter to a lovely dinner. If you have yet to go, you need to go ahead and make your reservations.

High expectations, but short on flavor! Apps: Curry Muscles was a very nice portion and fresh product . However, the curry broth lacked the flavor punch we were expecting. Best part of the app were the fries. Dinner: the mushroom pasta was a nice portion, good flavors but not a wow selection. Felt that the sauce was too soupy and could have been creamier. The New York strip was a disappointment for a $58 entree. While the presentation, temperature and portion were great, the meat lacked flavor and was not as tender as i was hoping for. Had a vein running through that made it chewy. Dessert: Creme Brûlée was yummy and a great finish to a dinner we were hoping would be a better caliber based on expectations and ratings. Service: our server was great, attentive and friendly.

Always excellent, outstanding food and service at the Caper! We celebrated our anniversary and husbands retirement with two time at the the Caper this week! Perfect both times!

Had an adjacent table with a couple of loud ladies that were singing and talking loudly throughout our dinner…..Ruined our evening. Still remains my most very favorite restaurant in Punta Gorda!!

Wonderful night. The food was outstanding. One of the party had the pork chop and said it was the best he has ever had ! The venison was also spectacular! Expensive but worth a special occasion . Can’t wait to come again. Mary Jane was an absolute gem of a waitress. Ask for her. She’s brilliant :)

We had a wonderful meal at Perfect Caper. My husband and I shared the pate plate which is our favorite appetizer to share. Tempura shrimp and duck were also excellent. As usual, the server was attentive and friendly.
