The Plumed Horse Restaurant has been a beacon of South Bay fine dining since 1952. Led by Executive Chef Peter Armellino, it is a destination for those travelling to visit, yet retains its landmark status as a place to relax, unwind, enjoy, and indulge for locals. Michelin has agreed, awarding Chef Peter a star for 15 consecutive years.

Chef's tasting menu, composed of multiple courses featuring items from local farms and fishermen, is the highlight. A la carte is offered in select seatings on certain evenings.

Wear whatever makes you comfortable, but you are here for a special night out, dressing up is fun! While not required, suits, sportcoats and classy attire will generally get you the best seats in the house.

We are an "adult restaurant." If you are bringing in younger patrons, we want to make it a great experience for every guest. We ask for no tablet or cell-phone entertainment that might disturb others. This is your night to make memories with each other as a family.

On Friday, February 7th, The Plumed Horse is proud to host Whistle Pig distillery. Chef Peter will be pairing five courses with seven different and unique expressions from one of North America's most lauded whiskey producers, including a single-barrel expression available exclusively at The Plumed Horse. The evening will be narrated by Bar Director Chris Ward, and is limited to 25 seats. Unique and rare expressions will be available for purchase by guests at the conclusion of the dinner. The event is $495 per guest. In lieu of a tip or gratuity, a 22% service charge will apply..

Chef Peter Armellino will be featuring a tasting menu highlighting all of the best luxury items available, including caviar to accompany the Rosé Champagne that will greet you to begin an evening of romance and indulgence. Our Valentine's menu for February 14th and 15th is priced at $375 per person. Optional wine pairings and seasonal artisanal cocktails will highlight the beverage options for the night. Please note that we will not be offering a la carte dining on February 14th or 15th. In lieu of a tip or gratuity, a 22% service charge will be applied to all purchases. Food was good but service was below expectations and certainly not Michelin standard. The dining room was very crowded and noisy on a Saturday night. Upon arrival, the server didn’t ask about dietary restrictions so we ended up getting food that we had to return. Everyone was rushing and we were getting run into on the hallway all the time.

From start to finish our experience at Plumed Horse was nothing short of phenomenal. Every dish was delightfully evocative, both taste and presentation. The service was also incredible. A perfect balance of professionalism and warmth. Everyone at Plumed Horse clearly takes great pride and joy in their work and it shows!

The experience that you expect for a Michelin star restaurant was not there. We went for a birthday dinner and all they brought was a candle on a plate written happy birthday with chocolate syrup. Even normal restaurant do this on a cup cake or on something smaller. The food was ok. I will not go back.

We've eaten here for many, many years and have always loved it. This last meal we had was the best ever. Everything was so spectacular. My husband and I have been incessantly talking in detail about each dish and what was so extraordinary about it ever since. We won't wait as long to make a return visit.
