We had a lovely experience and meal. It's definitely worth the cost and a treat for Christmas. Staff were very attentive, without being over intrusive. Go on spoil yourself it will be worth it.

Despite being very busy due to pre Christmas surge we had a great meal with excellent service. Maria, who looked after us was very professional, restaurant manager/ assistant sommelier (sorry can’t remember name) gave some spot on wine recommendations. Overall highly recommended.

Always memorable experience to visit the Shelbourne Hotel when in Dublin (even if you live in Dublin like we do) A quiet pre-dinner in the Horseshoe Bar followed by dinner in Saddle Room - staff, food and ambiance - all, as I say ‘memorable’ !

Wonderful food. Great ambiance. Good service throughout the evening. Arrived early for drinks but bar was very crowded. As soon as we mentioned we were dinner guests at the saddle room we were directed to a quiet table in the bar area which was a really nice touch. We stayed late into the evening and were given complimentary drinks to finish. So all in all a great experience and will be back.

Overall disappointing for a very expensive meal. Cauliflower soup starter was awful, horribly thick. The cod main was just alright. I wouldn’t rate the experience at all
