Food and service was just awesome, as usual. Tried the Branzino, which was new on the menu, and it was outrageous. Tasty, little spicy, absolutely delicious. As was the little gem ceaser and the spicy salmon tartar app. Don't miss the sticky toffee pudding.

Use this app. Long wait without reservation. Price NYC prices but not too bad for 2. Close to Central Park , Lincoln Center and the Beacon… good American food

We were seated immediately even though walk-ins were waiting… and thank you for that. It felt like the fact we had reset was valued by The smith. I asked for a particular table and they were able to accommodate me. I had a really great evening there. Thank you The Smith for making it memorable and holding my reservation!

We didn't get our drinks for at least 30 minutes after ordering them and after asking for kids menus several times without getting them, we asked another employee who just said "sorry we ran out" and walked away. It's a busy holiday time, but a high volume restaurant like The Smith should be able to handle it without such huge problems with service.

Delayed seating despite longstanding reservation. Mediocre food. Servers too busy. Disappointing as this restaurant is usually pretty solid. Weird brunch menu at 3:30 pm.

I went here for brunch and I was amazed by how good the food was! I got the shrimp and grits with a side of bacon and it was honestly the best shrimp and grits I've had all year, no joke! Already know I'll be back from brunch at some point down the line. My waiter was also very friendly and attentive. Didn't have much expectations for this place, but loved my experience and will return!

Went here for sunday brunch before the ballet at lincoln center. it is extremely busy and noisy and crowded. every table was right on top of one another. one room near the front door was freezing, the other room in the back where i sat was hot. Appetizers: mac and cheese was fantastic, huge portion. i had the french dip. something was off about it. it just tasted odd. I think it was the sauce on it and the steak itself did not taste fresh. French fries were really good. my daughter got the ny strip with eggs. she ordered a medium and it came out more like well done. the home fries were excellent. This place a bit pricey and the service was excellent. Not sure if i would come back.
