   Overall a good experience. I was at dinner with friends from work and with all of the hard surfaces in the restaurant it does make it a bit difficult to hold a conversation. Some simple sound deadening being added to the facility would help this. The food and service were good, not outstanding, the food could have been a little hotter and the service could have been a been faster. I'm not sure if they were understaffed due to a large party on the outdoor patio or what.

   The service was good, but the food was not that great. The flavors were bland—not authentic Southern food. The sweet tea was good, and the bread was tasty. However, the fried green tomatoes were topped with apple jam and bacon—why would they do that? The braised pork had a raw, overly meaty taste and was difficult to eat. The fried chicken was just okay, nothing special. Overall, I wouldn’t go back.

   What an amazing experience. We were hanging out with friends and one of them suggested we visit your establishment. None of us had dined here before and we just LOVED this place. Per the waiter's (Clif- the best waiter in the southern region I'm convinced!) suggestion, we tried cocktails, appetizers, entrees, and dessert. Every single recommendation was top tier! Clif's attentiveness (to when the food arrived, history of what we ate and drank, recommendations, and even boxing our food for us) was superb and expeditious to say the least. He was such a kind young man and I would return just to kick it with Clif again. Michaela, the assistant manager for the night, made my wife feel welcomed with a few jokes, checked to make sure we had a great evening, and even called me to ensure I picked up an item I left before leaving the premises. She is extremely kind and clearly runs an awesome ship! Finally, the food was EPIC! I wanted to tell the chefs because I am PICKY about my mac and cheese but they do it along with a NUMBER of other items on the menu great! I can't wait to return to do brunch and to find a reason to share this gem with other friends and family. The best dining experience I have had in Atlanta and to think it all started with a gift card from a friend... WELL DONE Southern Gentleman. WELL. DONE!

   I really enjoyed my experience at Southern Gentleman. The food was delicious. The only issue was my food was not hot. It appeared to have been ready much sooner than my party guests. Again, it was delicious but definitely was not hot.
