    Normally have been very satisfied with the quality of food, but New Year’s Eve was disappointing. My fish was over cooked and my wife’s filet wasn’t very tasty and was tough.

    They seemed short staffed for NYE. Waiter was rushed and a little brusque but warmed up some when it was tip time. The wedge salad was fine. My husband had the glazed pork chop and it was the driest piece of meat I’ve ever tasted. I had medallion filets and they were over cooked. The mashed potatoes were ok but who puts jalapeños in their mashed potatoes? We have eaten here before but will not be returning.

    Dinner there was with friends to celebrate Christmas Eve. We had a wonderful time, food was very good and our server was amazing. Great wine selection too!!

    We had a fabulous brunch here to celebrate a birthday! The restaurant is lovely inside (don't be fooled by the exterior/location) and feels incredibly upscale. I'm definitely one of those people who prefers a quiet environment so I can enjoy the company of those in my party and Union Kitchen was delightfully low key. The food was INCREDIBLE! Everything we had - from Belgian waffles to breakfast meatballs to the lobster omelet - was high quality, huge portions, and beautifully presented. Our entire party had difficulty choosing what we wanted because everything sounded so fantastic and we also had trouble finishing our plates so leftovers will be enjoyed! The only thing I will mention is our server was not very nice. I know that may sound a little strange, however, I didn't feel really taken care of during our meal and many times felt like we were almost an imposition or were asking stupid questions about their offerings. It by no means ruined out experience and I'd still go there again in a heartbeat, it just seemed odd amongst such amazing surroundings to encounter such abrupt service. Please don't let that last part deter you, everything was still delivered efficiently and, as I said, I cannot share enough praise for everything else about our meal here. We will definitely be back!
