Tiburon Fine Dining has quietly become one of Utah's premier restaurants. Tiburon is located in the south end of the Salt Lake valley in an unassuming building that formerly housed a fruit stand. But don't be fooled, Tiburon serves award-winning contemporary American cuisine ranging from pan-seared Beef Tenderloin with Foie Gras and Madiera syrup to Black Sesame-Crusted Ahi Tuna with Honey and Soy Marinated Carrots. The Crab Cakes consistently win best in the state and the salads are raved about by the locals. But it does not end with the food, service is always top-notch. Led by a staff that has been with owners since its opening in 1999, guests always feel welcomed in the warm and friendly atmosphere. And in the Summer with it's patio dining. Tiburon is the place to dine in the South Valley.

    Ryan, our server, was incredible as usual. Even though the place was super busy, he managed to provide us with a lot of attention wile being quick and efficient.

    As always, this restaurant never disappoints. Service and food are always delicious. Staff was very friendly and helpful. My complements to Taylor for going above and beyond. Although he was not our waiter, he was always there to assist our waitress and made the night totally enjoyable.

    Absolutely phenomenal food, best most consistent restaurant in SLC by far. Tuna always fresh and terrific preparation. . Elk is best you’ll find anywhere in USA. Sautéed Foie gras is better than anywhere in France. But only sporadically available …call in advance and they will try to get it in. Have been coming for years.

    I loved my salmon. We loved the bison and the elk!! We love the salad!! My husband doesn’t love your tenderloin. He doesn’t think it’s as high quality as other similarly priced restraunts. That was the only downside for him. He liked the gravy.. which he dusky doesn’t prefer a gravy in his tenderloin! Our waiter was awesome and accommodating!! The birthday desserts were a surprise! It was a fun evening!!

    After dining at Hoof & Vine, the server recommended Tiburon, a sister restaurant of Hoof and Vine. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming. The service was attentive and friendly. The menu included some of the same items as H&V but included different dishes too. The Tiburon house salad with mixed greens, apple slices, cranberry and candied pecans was tasty and satisfying. The pork belly appetizer was uniquely delicious. It looked like an extra thick strip of bacon layered with triple cream Brie and caramelized onions. I ordered the airline chicken with creamy polenta. It was very good until I crunched on a piece of broken ceramic plate. As appropriate, the meal was comped. My boyfriend ordered the lamb and it was perfectly cooked and very flavorful. We enjoyed our dining experience at Tiburon.
