    We had the Omasake and it was amazing! Tried food I had never tried before. They knew we were there for a birthday and at the end of the meal, Chef came and sang happy birthday in the most hilarious and memorable way. We wont be forgetting this dinner anytime soon. Everything was top quality. Absolutely delicious.

    There are many more sushi places in Vancouver that offer great food for much less than Tojo's. I understand that this place is an culinary institution for Japanese food, but the time has come for it to be competitive, instead of charging exorbitant for its name aside from slightly better food (subjectively speaking). Decor is dated and ambience is lacking. $350 for 2 diner, basically with few pieces sashimi and rolls, I expect much more.

    Excellent menu, using quality ingredients, full of freshness, flavour, and creative esthetic, served by knowledgeable, skilled staff, and expertly led by an engaging, talented, humorous and humble, Chef Tojo. We loved your Chef and the Daruma omakase, as well as your documentary film of the same name at VIFF. Many thanks! We will be back.

    My second time for omakase and they never disappoint. This time, we celebrated my dad’s 77th birthday. The waiter was so amazing and each time we are there, we learn more about Tojo-San and his love for sushi and food and I appreciate being a part of his journey as a chef. Learned about the movie and enjoyed the special omakase that is available only this month. I look forward to celebrating one of my loved ones here again

    Ohne of my best experiences ever 👍 Try the Omakase experience at the Sushi Bar and you will be as close as possible to the Magic Tojo-san.
