Co-owned by renowned restaurateur Drew Nieporent and legendary actor Robert De Niro, the Grill continues to receive many prestigious awards including, the coveted Grand Award from Wine Spectator Magazine every year since 2002. As a must-visit wine destination, the Grill features an extensive list featuring the world's largest selection of Châteauneuf du Pape (over 250) as well as many rare California Cabernet varietals. We had an exceptional dinner last night. We were well taken care of. It might have been the best steak I have ever had. I highly recommend it. It's not cheap but you are getting an unforgettable experience.

We had a 5pm reservation and were the first answer only table seated. Took almost 2 hours from start of service to end. We ordered calamari to start and red pepper flakes was not on the description and it was too spicy for my kids to eat. I also ordered the tempura Cauliflower and it had no flavor, not even salt. We ordered 2 grilled cheeses and a burger and it took over 1 hour for it to come to our table. We ordered truffle fries with the burger which made the total come to $33 for the burger and fries and we could not taste any truffle oil. The burger was cooked well but no seasoning. We will not be returning.

The beet appetizer and cauliflower tempura were wonderful. I had a great burger and my friend had the filet mignon. All great. We ordered warm brownie (was not warm) and icecream and they gave us a comp creme brulee. We had a festive bottle of sparkling rose. (Christmas Eve splurge). We also ordered onion rings and brussel sprouts. Too much food, but why not celebrate!

Great place to eat and enjoy friends and family. Great service and food and historical touches through out the site. Highly recommended! Check out Couple at the Bar for more details and pictures.

Excellent evening with my wife for our anniversary. Staff were superb, great food, fantastic ambience and an outstanding wine menu. Very highly recommended. Also very reasonably priced. Will definitely return when I next visit New York.

The food was mediocre. The food was served lukewarm. The beet salad was good but the portion was barely enough for one. ( the server should have told us since we told her 2 people were sharing) We were there for a birthday and the restaurant was very kind and brought us a lovely cheesecake with a candle. Overall it was disappointing; not the restaurant it used to be.
