Originally opened in 2010 as the first authentic Artisan Italian restaurant in Salem, NH, Tuscan Kitchen is now one of the most beloved restaurants in New England. Founder Joe Faro, the son of Sicilian immigrants, had the vision to share his love for Italian heritage with his guests.                                                                                                 I order the haddock special on 3/22. The fish was a small portion ~5 oz and the spinach risotto was cold. The waiter wasn’t available to send back. I think it was overpriced for what I got.

We liked the Chilean Sea Bass and the Pork Saltimboca. It is a bit pricey because you have to order veggies/sides separately, but great for a special night out!

The scallops tasted weird like chemical taste. The risotto was flavorless. Very disappointing especially at the price we paid. I’ve eaten here many times and never before have I had a bad meal.

Totally missed our appetizer. Offered to give us salads but we had to pay for them. Just bad service. Usually it’s good. Must have been a one off

My experience completely aligned with all negative Google reviews. Not worth the experience and certainly not worth the money. Much better dining options in the area.
