Bringing its hallmark level of quality and service to an urban location, Uchi Houston made its debut in 2012 in the former historic Felix space on Westheimer. Melding culinary innovation with an approachable vibe, the menu features items culled from both Uchi and Uchiko in Austin, along with signature seasonal items created by our Chef team. Reservations are encouraged and can be booked online up to 1 month in advance. Walk-in bar seating is available and is subject to wait times. We look forward to serving you, Kanpai!

    We had dinner at Uchi last night, and honestly, it was one of the best meals we’ve ever had. We went with the omakase, and every single dish blew us away. The flavors were so fresh and perfectly balanced. The presentation was beautiful too—each dish was like a work of art. The service was fantastic as well, with the staff being super friendly and attentive without ever being overbearing. If you’re looking for an unforgettable meal, I absolutely recommend Uchi. We’ll definitely be back!

    Went on Valentine's weekend. Pros: Food and service were excellent. Cons: restaurant playlist (rap,rock, etc.) not conducive for romance, considering it was Valentine's weekend; Expensive for the portions of food.

    Uchi is our special occasion dinner or date night. We love the variety of options (plenty of vegetarian options) and service is always top notch. I like to come during happy hour so that I can order from both happy hour and dinner menu. Linda is my favorite server! She makes really great recommendations and we always have the best dining experience with Linda. Will see you again soon!
