The restaurant offers menu and ambiance in a casual elegant style.     We go every New Year’s Eve. I was not sure we would go back after last year after being charged $34 for sparkling water. I finally talked to my husband back into going and so glad we did. (stuck to tapwater, lol.). Everything was delicious, best we’ve had over the last years.

    Overall our experience was terrific. We have been there a few times before and will no doubt return. What prevented it from being outstanding overall was the unfortunate attendance of a couple of tables of very obnoxious people who had no understanding of the type of place they were in. This is not, of course the fault of the Union League Cafe, but it does bring the quality of the experience down. One would hope there is some recourse for such a situation.

    It''s always great to be at the Union League, especially during the holidays, as it's so festive The tree was just right and the fire is always welcome. It became a bit noisy as the evening progressed but we enjoyed our meal and had a wonderful waitress who took outstanding care of us. We loved having complimentary appetizers and those delicious chocolate truffles at the end of the dinner.

    The Union League Cafe is a wonderful dining experience. Their standard of excellence remains consistent across the board with an excellence menu, delightful ambiance and attentive service. The main dining room complete with a large fireplace, is one of the great rooms in the area. Whether you're ordering an appetizer, entree or desset you have a unique selection to choose from, one not seen in other top restaurants. Even during the busiest hours the staff handles their guests without missing a beat. We recommend the Union League Cafe for anyone seeking a special night out.
