   It was our first time to Savannah and had 7:15 dinner reservations. It was pouring rain so we gave up on our walking tour and showed up an hour and a half early to Vic’s. They didn’t have a table available so we sat at the bar. They bar tender was friendly and made us special drinks. I had the fried chicken which was delicious!! The piano player added a fun touch to the overall experience.

   We’ve been dining at Vic’s every time we visit Savannah for the past five years. It’s always a wonderful restaurant to dine at! Last night however was the best evening we had by far! The hostess were friendly and quick to seat us. The food was timed perfectly and all our dishes were delicious. But the true gem of the evening was Ashely our server! She was extremely attentive and very pleasant. Her sunny disposition really made our experience at Vic’s that much more special than ever before! We will be back and will no doubt request Ashley serve us again!

   Had a great dinner after a Jersey Boys matinee at the Savannah Theater. Our server, Matthew, was awesome. Started with an excellent bottle of reasonably-priced wine from their list. My wife and I both had the She Crab Soup. We've had it at a number of places in the Savannah/Bluffton area. This by far was the best! An amazing amount of crab in a very tasty bisque. We ordered the Shellfish Melange and Filet Mignon. Both were cooked to perfection with excellent accompaniments. They brought us a complimentary chocolate pie dessert for my birthday that was scrumptious...we brought home a piece of pecan pie and key lime pie as well. A very pleasant dining experience! It's popular...so make reservations!

   Service was poor, very slow. There was an ant in one our water glasses that the waitress took back. Asked for more salad dressing long delay in coming to the table had to ask twice for it. Food was very good, loved the window view.

   I have been to Vic's many times and this experience was very uncharacteristic. Food was barely better than ok with the service levels to match. Disappointing.

    Every time we eat at Vic's the food is wonderful! I highly recommend the spicy shrimp for an appetizer and the scallops as a main course! The biscuits will melt in your mouth. The staff is always friendly and we always have a pleasant time, no matter which meal we go there to eat.
