   This is one of Edmonton’s best kept secret. If you are a true Italian food enthusiast, you will fall in love with this place. From the arrival, you walk into a super warm and welcoming ambiance, just like walking into an old Italian mama’s house. We were guided to our table and served by the most amazing hostess you can hope for, and the extraordinary quality and taste infused in every bite was the most amazing culinary experience we had the privilege of enjoying since moving to Edmonton 12 years ago. We will return, again and again.

   Went from a typical dining experience to exceptional. Welcoming host and friendly server. Food was tasty but had an issue that needed to inform the server. When we had finished out r meal the server came and brought over a couple of on the house in house made desserts and dessert wine which were fantastic. Not expecting any freebies and was looking to support local. They came and took accountability for the incident with no excuses which all owners of any business should do. Made the night from good to great. Thank you again !

   Cashed in a Christmas gift card to Violino tonight. Never been before but definitelywill be back. Located in an old house hidden just off 124st and jasper Ave..we walk in and immediately are greeted at the front door reception.taken to the 2nd floor where there is a private room and an area of 7 tables where we sat at a window.started with a Lobster Artichoke, Spinach, Cream Cheese & Feta Cheese Dip served with Pita Bread. Amazing appy!!highly recommend!! Wife have the Halibut and I went for the lamb..2 dinners we throughly enjoyed ..very comparable to Sabor.highly recommend this place..service was also top notch.busy place .well established restaurant with regulars just got 2 more.    Had a great dinner, the beets were super tasty but didn’t have much dressing or goat cheese accompanying them. The signature Alfredo was very good, love that they do the parm bowl in front of you. Drinks were okay, as well as service. Felt a little awkward in a back corner and I think could be forgotten a bit since you aren’t in the main flow of servers.

   The atmosphere was nice and service was good. The appetizer was less than expected for the $52 price tag. It was mostly calamari with basic dips. The brown butter sauce on the ravioli had an unusual flavour but the beef ribs were nice and tender.
