I recently visited Virginia’s on King in Charleston, and it was an incredible experience. I had the meatloaf sandwich, and it was absolutely delicious—comfort food at its finest, with rich flavors and the perfect balance of ingredients. My girlfriend tried the double loaded potato special, and it was nothing short of amazing—creative, flavorful, and so satisfying. The service was warm and attentive, and the atmosphere had that cozy Southern charm that makes you want to stay a while. Virginia’s on King is definitely a place we’ll return to for more incredible dishes and great hospitality. Highly recommended!

Server was great, the food was absolutely terrible. I don’t recall the last time I have sent food back but the steak tasted so bad me and my fiancé had to spit it out. The only thing that was enjoyable was my daughter’s grilled cheese and fruit cup. Felt bad for the server bc he was great but the food was terrible.

Virginia's has always provided a comfortable and friendly atmosphere to relax and enjoy a delicious meal. Our server was very attentive and helpful with suggestions. We enjoyed She crab soup, waffles and fried chicken, country eggs Benedict as well as fried green tomatoes. Prices are moderate and of good, good value. There are plenty of parking garages nearby for an easy drive into and out of downtown Charleston. You will be delighted you chose to dine at Virginia's.

We had lunch at Virginia’s on King and overall it was a good experience. Our wait person was friendly and helpful which kicked things off on the right note. Sadly they were out of the deviled eggs, so we opted for fried green tomatoes which arrived are out table piping hot and tasty. My husband enjoyed his pulled pork sandwich with vinegar based BBQ sauce, slaw, pickles and steak fries. I never pass up a meatloaf sandwich but this one was served on Texas toast and there was way too much ‘bread’ versus meatloaf. The meatloaf was tasty, the aioli was good, and the fries were excellent. Would I order the meatloaf sandwich again? Only if was served on a bun.

Wry loud environment making conversation difficult. We made reservations for Charleston Food Week but they didn’t have that menu/pricing special available. No complementary items offered to compensate for our inconvenience and need to pay double what we had expected. Overall disappointed

The food was amazing! I had the honey Tabasco salmon which was delicious! The pickled okra was so good as an appetizer. My husband had the Cod sandwich and he said the fish was perfectly cooked and delicious! Our server was so attentive and make excellent suggestions! The manager, Christine, was a so kind and a delight. We enjoyed everything about our dinner!
