Food was mediocre at best. Place looked worn down and our server was not friendly or attentive. The bill was dropped off at the table without even asking if we were done ordering.

We had the ahi and pork belly appetizers, the ribeye and surf and turf pasta, and the butter cake for dessert. Everything was delicious. My husband’s steak was cooked perfectly, which tends to be a challenge at a lot of restaurants. And he was raving about the pork belly. We will definitely eat here again the next time we are in Reno!

Our server, Danny, was attentive and thorough. My husband got the mahi mahi and it was also delicious. I made a reservation and it still just kind of seemed crowded so it was loud. We were in a corner and even though the restaurant is beautiful it seemed hard to enjoy the ambiance.

                                                                                                                                                                                                                    Absolutely mine and my husbands favorite place for a steak dinner ! Hands down one of the point to the T our server chris was on top of making sure everything was perfect and not once did we regret going to celebrate there! The salmon crab cakes are UN-REAL , the brown butter cake feels like a warm fall hug and the NY steak was cooked to perfection… overall one of the three BEST places to hit all the marks on my list :,)

She received a dry over cooked tough NY. The chef clearly over cooked it in the oven without taking the grill into consideration. My lamb was slightly underdone very red rather than pink to slight red. Taste was ok, but it gave me and upset stomach. The asparagus and orzo were with cold. The service was meh… the server only check on us once during the hour long dinner and did not provide a water or soft drink refill. Wild River is 0 for 2 of two visits over about 6 years. Can’t say we’ll be going back. Their sister restaurant is so much better.
