   We are not from Regina, we were there for a conference, and I rely on OpenTable when choosing restaurants when I am going to cities I am not familiar with. This restaurant had a fairly high rating on OpenTable. I was looking for something more on the casual side (not fine dining) however good food, and variety in their menu. According to the reviews, this place should have met those criteria. Almost everyone's dish was overly salted, which to me indicates poor quality food and poor quality preparation of the food. Out of 5 of us ,One person had Trout and they said it was good....3 people rated their food as so-so. I ordered the ribs that were supposed to fall off the bone. I first tired cutting them with my regular knife. That was not working. I then switched to a steak knife, it didn't even work, and I finally left most of the ribs on my plate. Our waitress was kind enough to give us a 25% discount on my ribs. This place was extremely ordinary at best, and I won't go back the next time I am in Regina. It embarrassed me that I chose this place to take people to.

   Arrived and seated ourselves as per the sign. Sat down and an older lady waitress took request for drinks and didn't see her again for atleast 30 minutes. The restaurant was not busy. Asked a hostess if we could get another waitress as we were STILL waiting on water, coffee and orange juice. Waitress finally reappeared but still wasn't very attentive. I've never been and felt so ignored by service staff anywhere as bad as this before in my life. The rest of the visit was awesome. Food was fresh, some items rotated from previous weekend. Always a pleasure to go except this last visit and issue with the waitress.

   Wild sage regina was a wonderful place for breakfast. Had the buffet which is very reasonably priced and everything was top notch. This was second time visit and it was amazing. The food was super fresh, the whole restaurant was very clean and tidy. Used tables were cleared immediately so it always looked pristine. The waitress was amazing. Friendly and made me feel very welcome. Always coming by to se if I needed anything, more coffee or juice etc. Overall a great place. I can only imagine how lunch or dinners are.

   The service was excellent. I had the smoked beet salad with brisket added, and the pecan pie. So, so delicious - everything was bang on. If you haven't eaten here, you should. It's a gem 💎

   Christmas meal was great for most part. Lots of very nice and attentive staff. Gravy was not thick, other than that food was terrific. Staff was first rate.

   The steak we ordered was really nice, our server was quite attentive and the ambience was nice. I enjoyed my time there.

   The food was descent but with only one of other customer in the restaurant, we had very poor service. The waitress only completed the very minimum duties. She served our food and that was it. Our drinks were never refilled, when we asked for a small container for the appetizer, it felt like she threw it on the table. She never removed our extra plates,so we had to set them on the table beside us. We never had the opportunity to ask for condiments or actual knives. When I tried to find out why she was not helping us,I discovered her eating and playing on her phone. Not once did she ask how the food was. Worst service I have ever experienced.

   The food was very good, however the service was below average. Each portion of our meal had an issue. Appetizer, main course and dessert. Perhaps it was due to inexperience. Our appetizer never did come as they were going to bring it with the meal. They forgot the risotto with the main course, so we were all finished our meal by the time they made it and brought it out (and it was undercooked as they were trying to rush it out). The dessert came and they forgot the caramel sauce on top (most important ingredient in this dessert). We have had dining take out before and it has been excellent. This particular night wasn't great at all.

    The soups were bland and lacking flavour, very watery. The pulled pork was dried out and cold, the fries were good, the ribs were tough, the beet salad was nice. Their house made pickles are atrocious. The server was good and friendly. Nice table layout, and the lighting was nice.
