   Celebrating our 55th wedding anniversary, Wildfire was the appropriate place to go. We have celebrated many of our anniversary’s at Wildfire. Our server Vanessa was absolutely OUTSTANDING. The food was tremendous, the wine delightful and the atmosphere quiet.

   Service was spotty. She was busy with larger parties. No drink refill. Ordered scallop appetizer and it didn’t arrive until 2/3 through eating our entree. Can’t remember this ever happening. We sent it back and it was taken off our bill without asking which was great. But no real apology or acknowledgement from a manager. First time I have ever had less than great experience at a Wildfire.

   My best friend and I make you our night out and would not trade it for anything. My New York strip was cooked perfectly and I love the butternut squash.

   We love Wildfire! Great staff that was welcoming and helpful, delicious food selections, our steaks were cooked just as we wanted. We will definitely return!

   Thank you for a great environment to take a break and celebrate our successes. Food was excellent, atmosphere perfect, and service outstanding. We look forward to returning again, and again!

   Had lunch with 5 friends on a Sunday afternoon. The table that was provided was perfect. A round table/booth allowed easy conversation so we could catch up on lots of updates since our last get together @ 5 months ago. The waiter was very attentive and provided exceptional service. Menu offered a good variety of options and the quality of the food was excellent. I would highly recommend Wildfire.

   Had new york strip and augraten potatoes. Steak was cooked perfectly but was very tough. Potatoes didn't have hardly any flavor. You would think for the money the Steak would be a better quality of meet.

    I dine frequently at Wildfire in Glenview and usually have a great experience, so I decided to celebrate my sister’s birthday at this location since we were in the area. Unfortunately, this visit was a disappointment in both the service and the food. We arrived on time for our 5:15 p.m. reservation, and the dining area wasn’t busy, so we ordered cocktails before dinner. It took nearly 20 minutes for our drinks to arrive. Our martinis tasted watered down, as if they had been sitting at the bar waiting to be delivered—they weren’t chilled and were more like room temperature. Both my sister and I ordered bone-in ribeyes cooked Pittsburgh style. Unfortunately, both steaks were overcooked, so we sent them back. When the steaks were returned, they were cold in the middle. I couldn’t understand why this location struggled to get the Pittsburgh-style cooking right, so we asked for the steaks to be put back on the grill to warm them up to an edible temperature. The steaks were brought back for a third time and were somewhat cooked correctly, though still not as warm as they should have been. By this point, our side dishes had been sitting on the table and had gotten cold. The manager came over, apologized for the inconvenience, and offered to comp the room-temperature martinis. Unfortunately, this didn’t make up for the ruined birthday celebration. I won’t be returning to this Wildfire location again. I do appreciate the efforts of our waitress, who did her best, but she was caught in the middle between poor management and a chef who clearly doesn’t know how to cook a Pittsburgh-style ribeye at this location.
